I've been told that all A-bodys are the same to interchange parts. I have a friend that wants my power steering gear box off of a 72 Monte Carlo to put into his 67 Le Mans. Will this bolt up? Also, would my power steering pump and brackets bolt up to his Pontiac?

All A-bodies are not the same. It is usually divided into 64-67 and 68-72. These "divided" years are the same for Chevy, Pontiac, Olds and Buick.

I'm not sure about the steering box. It might bolt up but the pitman arm might be different.

I'm assuming the ps pump and brackets are from the Monte Carlo. If that's the case, then no, the brackets/pump will not bolt up to the Pontiac.
