I have to admit I am stumped on this one and I hope someone can help out with this. I'm in the process of moving and have two pairs of heads off running 400's. One set is casting 333882 the other set is 3998997. I am thinking about selling them. Does anyone have any idea of what they are worth? I've not done anything to them other than take them off the old engine, and put them on a shelf. So, I would treat them as cores, but a budget build could probably run them after a quick clean up.
Any ideas on what these heads are worth?
Thanks in advance.

In all honesty, neither set it worth a whole lot, especially these days when the aftermarket has so many options. The only good selling point is that they're factory 400 heads with the steam holes already in them. I believe they're both 76cc chamber smog heads from 73 to maybe 75/76?? I'd clean them up and throw em on ebay as maybe somebody out there could use them if they're doing a resto on something in that year range and need those heads, or somebody is just looking to replace a damaged head.

They're not worth much, maybe a hundred a set or something like that. You know though...one man's trash....:D
