I've bled brakes before, but this time i'm stumped. Changed over to rear disc brakes on my el. Used the wildwood system, and i can't seem to get thje fluid to the back brakes.I'm using the mity vac to suck the fluid back, but after 15min. of pumping, still no fluid, just air, do i need to put teflon tape on all fittings, also i installed a proportioning valve along frame rail on rear brake line, could that be holding back the fluid? need some ideas.

If there is a rubber button on the prop. valve then you have to hold that in while you are bleeding the brakes. Also, if you are Mity-Vac'ing it leave the cap off the master so you're not fighting that. You generally don't use teflon on brake fittings although I have put a little wheel bearing grease on the bleeder threads to seal them up. Don't know if it helps but it was a tip in the instructions for my Pheonix Injector.
The best brake bleeder I have is a piece of hose and a 1 liter soda bottle 1/4 full of new fluid. Just pump the brakes and you're done.

Never use teflon tape on brake lines! If any flared fitting does not seal either the flare is improperly made or the fitting it seats into is damaged.
jpete/Jeff, Where abouts in Warwick do you live. I grew up there and lived near Apponaug in Larchmont Highlands many, many years ago.

Depending on how "many, many" years ago you lived in Warwick, it might have still been a high school at the time. I'm not sure where Larchmont Highlands is but in Warwick, every 4 streets is another part of town.
Ever get back this way?

Check the proportioning valve. You will probably have to "reset" the plunger.
