I always thought that the reason alot of muscle cars sit tilted in the rear was weak coil springs, but I replaced my springs and my 68 Chevelle still sits tilted. What else causes this?

Generally, as required for any project, 3 cases of beer in the trunk! graemlins/beers.gif

Left to right tilt could be worn body bushings. Front to back tilt would be a result of the springs.

I think and I say that loosly, the muscle car's that I see Tilted to the right . I think is from all that torque and it torques to the right and forces the right side down. Therfore weakening the right side spring sooner than the left one. I could be way off on this. :D but I know guy;s that worked on the chevelle lines at oshawa said there were to diff rear spring for big block chevelles meaning the right side spring would be a little stiffer.
