A buddy is needing a quick answer. He found a guy selling refurb 72' brake kits. Said they bolt right on to the 67 Chevelle. Is this true? I have looked in the archives and not found a simple answer.

yes, it is a direct swap. The brake line hoses may be a little short, but '69 camaro disc hoses are an inch or so longer.

Ball joints and tie-rod ends are the same. You may need 15" wheels to clear the calipers. (some 14s do clear, some do not)
