Jeff. I am not sure what you are looking for, but you might consider a combination valve like http://www.si.hhs.nl/~rob/images/scanned/242_ass_brk_bstr.jpg

It is still available through GM for some $60. The part number is 1257177.

Let me see, What is the correct name for the valve on the frame that all the brake line`s go to? That`s the one I`m talkin about, seems some folks call it diffrent name`s. Do they make new ones that bolt right in? An will I have to change the brake lines from the m/c or just bend`em alittle? All my parts are from a 72 cutlass donor car goin into a 71 malibu with fac. manual drums switchin to power front disc`s. Thank`s Jeff

On a 4 wheel manual drum brake car, the piece on the frame where the brake lines go into and out of is just a junction block. When you go to disc brakes on front of the car, you replace that with a "combination valve". It properly meters the brake fluid between front and rear brakes, it holds a residual pressure on the rear drum brakes, and it allows the pressure to get to the rear brakes first, so your car does not dive every time you apply the brakes. Go to www.mpbrakes.com (http://www.mpbrakes.com) and read about the combination valve. That is what you need. I believe the picture in the post is a combination valve for disc front and drum rear cars. But do some reading at master power brake site to understand what I am trying to say.

I think a combination valve from a 72 cutlass should bolt nicely to the frame on your 71 chevelle. they are both A body cars. 68-72 A bodies are basically all interchangable parts. Did you get the disc brake hose frame brakets off the donor car? If not, the stock disc brake hoses will not fit in the drum brake brakets. But don't rush out to find hose brackets because "F fdyfo" who posts often on this site advised in a recent post that disc hoses from a 69 camaro are longer than stock and will fit into the drum brake hose brackets. Search his name on this forum (brakes) and find where he posted an answer to a question about 1LE rotors. He has done this conversion and knows more than I about it. (although I will be converting my 69 cutlass to disc in about a month)

Yep I got them to, If the proportioning valve bolts right up, I think it will, All the new springs shocks, calipers an rotors, along with a new M/C, I should have everything I need! Jeff

You do not need a proportioning valve if you have the combination valve from the Cutlass. That's why it's called a combination valve it has both the brake switch and metering valve in one part.
