I'm looking for a good AN -3 flaring tool for my stainless brake lines , tried a budget brand and it was sloppy,I know the hydraulic hand held with the dies is the best but it is expensive considering i will only use it once (hopefully)
Could not find one to rent in my area.

Maybe this is the budget model that you referred to, but Summit Racing offers one.

I got mine from inline tube.... dies are hardened, the handle has taken a beating
