I recently bought a set of calipers from "Stainless Steel Brakes" for my 71 Elcamino.They are the two piston aluminum stock replacment upgrade.They look great and are an easy install.The problem; while the car is still on jackstands, I can turn the steering wheel through its full range of motion, but the calipers only clear the lower control by a 16th of an inch. I'm assuming when I put the tires on and lower it back down this will be a problem when taking a corner.The coil springs are the originals and haven't been cut. Does anybody got any ideas?
