A very quick pull to the right, right through the steering wheel. What do I check first? Not alot of miles on the brakes at all. They do get some pretty hard use though, for the limited amount of time they see (not like racing, but big-mph slowdowns (like 80-30 or 90-50) at least a couple times every time I drive the car).

Disc or drums? Usually, the opposite side isn't functioning OR the offending side has a blown wheel cylinder allowing brake fluid to soak the linings. A bad grease seal could also have allowed grease to saturate the linings or pads on the offending side. If the problem is the opposite side, normally it could be a bad wheel cylinder (seized) or a bad caliper, again, probably seized.

yikes, where was my mind.

4 wheel discs.. baer track up front (2 piston), single piston discs in back.

I noticed it when I was getting it out of storage to bring it to the cam swap place. I'll be able to check when I get it back, but something is up, and I was wondering where I should start.

more headaches than fun.. I wonder why sometimes..

I had the exact same problem with my Chevelle also. I would check your flexible brake hoses to see if they are plugged. I had 4 wheel drums and when I hit the brakes the car would dart hard to the right. I checked the linings and the adjustment was great, and the wheels cylinders looked brand new. I had my friend push on the pedal and I loosened up the flexible brake line at the wheel cylinder and there was no fluid coming out. I loosened up the fitting before the flex line and Brake fluid shot across the garage. The previous owner must have used a vice grips on the flex hose to keep fluid from running out when they replaced the wheel cylinder, thus collapsing the inside of the hose.
