I think it's the same frame as the El-Camino. In other words it will work IF you chop about 2 1/2 inches off the back (tail end) of the frame. If you have access to both frames take measurements just to be sure but I am fairly sure it's the same as the El-Camino frame which will fit your Chevelle.
If I'm wrong someone will correct me.
Hope I helped,
Steve

I checked my Holander book, only a 67 sedan or hardtop frame had the same #'s. I am not sure how complee the book is at listing all the different A bodies, but it showed 68-72 being the same as some other A body counter parts-no changes between makes for 64-67.
I looked at a frame on the internet for my 66 from a gto and they didn't seem to be the same.
I noticed you are from St. Louis. Saw a guy on Ebay with a 67 sedan frame a couple weeks ago. Pretty cheap. It was in Galesburg Ill, which is about 2.5-3 hrs from me, so add an hour and 1/2 to you. If interested, I may be able to find it for you again. let me know. graemlins/beers.gif
