These pictures are from inside the trunk of my '69. The trunk floor pan is new, the quarter panels have been ripped off at the bottom (to install new dropoffs), and the tail panel is new. There are two triangle shaped areas that look like they will need to be filled (see red squares in the pictures).

Would just a triangle shaped flat piece to intersect those corners be the right thing to install or am I missing something?

just went outside to check my 69 vert and those areas are filled by a small triangle piece of metal.
