Does anyone know the actual size of the rear seats for a 68 chevelle? I have one, but am not sure if it is correct. I have the car at the body shop, and it is not accessable, to far away to just drive there and try the seat in it. I would like to find out before I try to put the new interior on it. I was told it could be a 70 rear seat. I think the 70 seat is shorter? If I could get a measurement that would be great. :confused:

The rear seats will be the same 68-72 unless...

A. its a convertible rear seat
b. its a Rear seat out of a Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac (they used the narrower convertible rear seats in their hartop cars along with different armrests that take up the space.

Unfortunatly, i don't know the exact dimention differences between the convert and nonc convert rear seat. Maybe someone else can post those.

just read some other stuff- i may be wrong... sounds like 70-72 uses a narrower rear seat than 68-69... need someone to post the dims i guess so you'll know.
