Hey All,

I was wondering what everyone was doing for the rear suspension for their cars. I'm considering getting / installing the Hotchkis Big Block/Sport package: http://www.hotchkis.net/cgi-bin/EDCstore.pl?user_action=detail&catalogno=80005

Has anyone gone this route or with anyone else?

Thanks for the help!

I can say this, if you go with Global West you need to order 2 months ahead of when you will need it. I've been waiting over 2 months and still have the sway bars on back order. I got the whole deal front and rear. Bad thing was they gave me no word that anything would be on back order. Glad I did not have to have it in a week. Very happy with the product though.

I ordered the BBC TVS kit and have only installed the front so far, but it all looks and fits great. As for the wait, it took two and a half months to get all of the parts here.

Hmmm.. I wonder what peoples opinions are with Global West setup vs the Hotchkis .

4FTTY4:
I'm surprised to hear its taking so long, would have thought they'd send everything at once.

If its cool with you, I have a bunch of random questions for you...

-Did they bill you for the full amount, While things were on backorder?

- Would you recommend this to someone else?

- What was the over all cost?

- Do you have any pics of the kit you received or anything that is installed?

- Did they including all the hardware needed?

Thanks in advanced!

ok, here we go...
They billed me for the entire kit a couple days after I ordered it, and the first parts (The rear control arms) arrived about 10 days after I ordered them. The total amout came out to $1399 and some change, and I asked them to only bill me for the parts that they had, but they said that the package could not be split.
The rest of the kit came over the next ten weeks, with the springs taking the longest to arrive. I have the front portion of the kit installed, springs and swaybar, and everything fits and looks great. I don't have any pictures of the kit installed, but the swaybar is monsterous. The kit arrived with all of the necessary hardware which is pictured on the hotchkis site. I would reccommend the kit on account of the quality, and because short of shocks, it is a complete suspension setup. My only suggestion would be to confirm with a person that the parts you wanted were in stock before you ordered. Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions...

I am also deciding between Hotchkis and Global West. Upper A arms and sway bars. Front first.

I'm also in the middle of choosing between Hotchkis, Global West and BMR Fabrication...

What's best?

Regarding the front, I'm going for AirRides StrongArms with the Shockwave 3.0 airsprings.

Thanks!
