As the post says I am currently in the designing phase and am looking for some input. The questions I am looking to answer are:

1.4130 or mild steel
2.build to accept stock bushings, poly, or solid
3.round tubing or square.

I am leaning toward round 1.5x.120 wall mild to accept stock bushings, I would appreciate some input as to things that I could do to improve over current aftermarket control arms. I am going to build the lowers first, then design and build an adjustable upper. Thanks

You can do this cheaper than buying a set? or is it the challenge?

I think I can do it alot cheaper than buying a set, plus the challenge. I have already started building the jig to build them in. I really dont think it is going to be that difficult. I just wanted some input from you guys.

You cannot build them cheaper than you could purchase a 22" panhard bar with rod ends from Coleman, I think they run about 25/ea.
