When I disassembled my front end, I matched my tie rods to the ones that were removed. However, I can't remember which end was inner , and which was outer. I noticed one end was a little thicker near the end that goes into the centerlink or into the steering arm. Would the thicker, heavier ends be inner or outer? Thank you.

The inner ones have the grease fitting on the side and the outer ones have the grease fitting on the bottom. Hope this helps. smile.gif

Leo, thanks for the quick reply. My replacements both have the grease fitting on the bottom. NAPA (where I got the parts) will be opening soon, so I'm gonna run down there and hopefully they have some in stock so I can compare. I saved the barcodes, because these parts are lifetime warranty, but the labels just have a p/n.
BTW, do you happen to know if the upper A arm shafts are directional? Thanks again, Wes

Back from NAPA, it looks like the thicker, heavier tie rods go inboard. Thanks again, Wes
