Just got done gettin this fatmat to the whole interior minus the trunk. Seems to be pretty good stuff, I can completely notice a difference in sound just from crawling around layin it down for 7 hours, LOL! Obviously I haven't drove it yet cause the car isn't done but has made a huge difference so far! Can't compare it to dynomat cause I've never done a whole interior like this with dynomat but I'm impressed with this stuff...rolls in the contours nicely & absorbs lots of sound & best of all it's 130 bucks for 100 sq ft! What you see here is about 70 sq ft with enough left to do the trunk if I decide to go that route. Just figured ya'll would like to hear & see that a cheap alternative to dynomat is pretty good stuff!

I take it is a peel and stick application?

How thick is it?

Where did you buy it from?

Yeah it's a peel and stick app...it's 50 mil thick & I got it straight from their website for 130, I've seen it on ebay for about the same price aswell!

Nice work robo 3:thumbsup:

Chad,
Thanks for the information. I have been doing some research on what to use inside of the car since I'm about ready to start the interior.

No prob...just figured if a guy could save 500 bucks on sound deadener & still have good results that this is the way to go!

Questioin on using deadner on the roof. My headliner is out and what remains is the original, nasty, cardboard like deadner. Can you put the new deadner over the old stuff, or do you have to take off the old stuff. It looks like it would be a pretty tough job if not blasting. I am thinking the headliner may not fit if you double up with new deadner. Anyone care to comment?

I have that crap bottom of roof also. Can't wait to remove it. Thinking of removing the roof panel, to clean and repair, or buy new roof. Decisions@@@@ Guess you could scrape it off.

Had to scrape 75% of mine off...didn't come off very easy either! Used a putty knife, a big wire brush, this & that...you know the usual routine when something sucks, LOL!
