how big is the biggest rear swaybar that Gm have on A body 68-72 where do i find one

The biggest on a stock A-Body was 1.0625" but you can install a 1.25" from a 1975 to 1981 Z-28 Camaro, Formula Firebird or Trans-Am. It bolts right on and makes a big difference. I don't know if you will be able to find one as easy as we can over here in the scrap yards.

He asked about, the rear, not the front.

I am pretty sure the rear sway bars were 7/8" for the 68-72 A-bodies.

There was a rare 1 1/8 rear bar, 72 GTO I believe but DC right the one that you find that are GM are 7/8. I have a 1" bar from Suspension Techniques on my 68.

the best way I can think of to aswner this question is to send you to global wests home page .. click a bodys then the sub title what works with what ... swaybars have come along way sence our cars were new...WWW.globalwest.net
