does anyone reproduce these correctly.i have a set that are anodized aluminum.they look real similar to originals from a few feet away,but originals were chrome plated die cast.thanks

I haven't seen them repop'ed. The problem with used ones is that they may be bent or pitted. Both problems are difficult to correct, not impossible, if you want to re-chrome. The ALU repop's will pass in a pinch, but they aren't close enough IMO.

No correct reproduction being made. Even nos will have some blems and go for a small fortune. Best to keep looking for decent originals. Also the ones I have seen rechromed look bad, the grooves lose their detail, fill in.
