Ok I've asked this question on other forums,I got a lot of negative comments,I have a 90 Class A motor home on a P30 chassis(BBC powered of course)it has suspension similar to a 3500 series pu,I want to replace the coil springs w/air bags(real, not the kind that fit inside the coil)the shock is mounted outboard of the A arms, what do you think?

It can be done!! Look to see if you can replace the whole axle with a air ride one, most city buses use air ride in the front. If you are good with a welder the supports for the top of the bellows will need to be welded in.
The other thing where will you get the air from?? Air lines air leval valve??
See if that P30 ever came with air ride. You will also need a panhard bar to keep the axle under the M/H.

I want to do this on the front end,its independant like a car or 2wd pu,I can get the air tank&engine mounted compressor from a employer with a few junk diesel trucks laying around.
