Hey guys I have 64 malibu wagon I am redoing the front suspension and I need to know what size centerlink I have. I know that there were 2 for that year one 7/8 and one 13/16. I dont know which I have. I would also like to know if there would be any advantage to going with 7/8 if mine is 13/16. I am replacing everything including idler arm and centerlink. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take an adjustable wrench (Cresent Wrench), open it up and put it on the bar. Tighten till you can barely get it off.

Then use a tape measure to measure the opening of the wrench.

7/8=14/16, so 13/16 will be really close.

Or if you have a 7/8ths wrench in your toolbox, use that.

Measure 2x.

Or use a set of dial calipers 7/8=.875 and
13/16=.812

or just take one of each wrench and see which one fits..
