Hey Yody, whats up. I didn't know you checked in over here. The bird is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it in person.

Who frickin' knows. If it's not one than it's another. Still trying to work out the control arm deal and find control arms-I want to rebuild another set so in one weekend I can do a complete swap, the whole front-end in one swift blow. That way my driver isn't down during the week. Anyone local have a set of lower a-arms with round bushings for a 64-72?
BTW, thanks again Joe. Get your mail yet?

Dennis,
Yep, I got my mail.

There is a '72 Cutlass in the 'yard here. Do you want me to see what kind of condition the arms are in? I'm betting they are the oval bushing type though, but I'll have to check.

Joe, that would be awesome but I wouldn't ask someone to go boneyard hunting for me, plus you would have to ship them, too much work. I'll have the local yard run a search for me.

Dennis,
You're kidding...right??? My middle name is junkyard dog ;)

When I get off work today I'll run over there and see what type they are and what general condition they are in. I need to check out what is new in the 'yard so its not a wasted trip.

Stuff is pretty cheap and if need be I can ship them easily to you. But lets not count our chickens before they hatch. I'll find out what they are and let you know.

BTW, do you need both upper and lower a-arms??

I think you know about GM Sports (http://www.gmsports.com/) in San Jose. They usually have things like this sitting around - if you don't mind breaking the piggy bank

Just the lowers Joe, thanks. Yeah I know about gm sports----they are a little pricey, just below new alot of the time.

Dennis,
Didn't get a chance yesterday to run over there. Work kept me here later than usual.

I will be going today though & will let you know.

I've had good luck at Dorris Auto Wreckers in Hayward. Don't always have what you want, but good prices. Got a whole frame from a (Buick A-Body), front, and rear A arms for $300.
