Is there anything such as an additive that will help a noisy power steering pump? Will low fluid level cause it? I'm about to replace the pump but was checking on any other remedies.

Low fluid could cause some noise. There is also a over 75,000 mile power steering fluid that could help some noise go away. If the pump is actually going bad, it probably won't help too much and should be replaced.
I had a friend of mine loose his power steering in a turn and put his truck into a ditch and my head through the windshield :wacko:
