i am working on a 68' chevelle SS 396. looking for the correct water pump and distributor numbers. The engine was built in Feb. 1968. Most of this car is numbers matching so i would like to make it 100% right.

Distributor, unless it's an L78-1111169, 1111170 for the L78 motor. Components should be date-coded before engine assembly date stamped on the pad, usually within 3~4 month maximum, 1 week minimum.
