Need help with front brake line going from drivers side to passenger side.
I need to replace this line and the old line may not be run correctly. When it crosses over along the back of the front cross member just before it hits the passenger side frame rail it drops down and then back up as if its going around something. I was thinking maybe the starter. Is this the correct way it is suppose to look? The front clip and engine are removed so I can't see what this curve (looks like the bottom half of a circle) would be for. Any help or even a picture would be greatly appreciated.

Bumpin' you back to the top.

I can't, for the life of me, remember what the bends look like on that brake line graemlins/clonk.gif

Anyone have a pic?

I've got pictures of the brake line on a 68 frame. I'm fairly certain it's the stock routing. Let me know if you want to see them. I have about 5 at 90k bytes each.

On the passenger side it comes out of the "notch" in the frame and then drops to the bottom of the crossmember at a bit of an angle. Then it runs straight to where the crossmember meets the side rail where it comes back up. It seems to stay fairly close to the crossmemember the whole time. If I had to guess, it drops down to get it a little further away from the origional exaust.
