i have bone stock 72 with a 307 and turbo tranny. plans are to keep the stock look, but thoroughly upgrade the suspension and brakes BEFORE dropping in significantly more horsepower in the form of a 350. i enjoy the challenge of using later model chevy parts to upgrade and i like saving the bucks as compared to buying aftermarket parts. i know the late model fast ratio S10 steering box is basically a bolt in. does anyone out there know what late model parts will work in the following areas ?

1. disc brakes (and spindles if necessary); we will stick with 15 inch wheels.
2. sway bars, front and rear (we plan on polygraphite bushings throughout)
3. the car appears to ride a little lower than new, as the springs have settled; i like the lower ride height, but need new springs. any recommendations on spring suppliers and model numbers ?

thanks

YOU HAVE MANY OPTIONS. if you want modern stuff, i would consider doing a 4 wheel disc set up. i would go the 12" b-body spindle route for the front. there is lots of advantages and you can keep your 15" wheels.
