Mike,
'93-'97 F-body PBR calipers, rotors and backing plates are a direct swap onto your 10-bolt. Backing plates from GM are $25 a side @ www.gmpartsdirect.com. (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com.)

Some guys are starting to swap the f-body 98+ rear disc setup with the integrated rear drum parking brake setup as well as the Caddy setup from the late '70's to early '80's.

Bill C. (aka BC) is the king of the Caddy swap and I'm sure he'll chime in here about what he had to go through.

You might also want to perform a search on the subject as its been discussed tons of time here.

Good luck graemlins/beers.gif

Mike,
My first questions are typically why do you want to do this, How much do you have to spend, and are you willing to go thru all the PITA troubleshooting to make it work!!??

There are several ways to go and each method has it's own pro's and con's IMO. Joe is correct (tho I'm not sure I'm Kingly material!) in that I have done a lot of research and troubleshooting with the Caddy/TA rear disk brake stuff and JMO, you should look for something better! This system just has too many cons like expense, poor ebrake system, ebrake cables, and takes a lot of adjustments to make it work good. One pro to this setup is that they are farily easy to find. If you want to look into that route, I strongly advise that you look into what Pete said: Getting the brackets, buying new FRONT calipers, rotors, and then using the cool pinion mounted parking brake Pete has designed and built. Trust me, you will not only save money going this route, but lots of frustration as well!

My first choice tho would be the late-model stuff like Joe said. It is a direct bolt on and works good. It is usually more expensive, but deals can be made on Epay and such.

Anyway, best of luck on whatever you decide...
