The 4.10 may have been added at some unknown point. I checked it by the one full turn of the drum/ drive shaft turns technique. Can I call or e-mail for more information? elkygeezer Mar 16th, 12, 8:08 PM The website ultimategto.com says that in 1966 the GTO 4.11 (not 4.10) was a dealer-installed option for a factory-installed 3.90 with a 3-speed or 4-speed close ratio manual transmission. The 10-bolts were 4.11 (37-9) rather than the 12-bolts' 4.10 (41-10). Richmond Gear offers a 37-9 gearset for the GM 10-bolts.
