My 65 currently has power drum brakes on it. If I were to install a front disc brake conversion kit on it would I have to change the booster and master cylinder? Some kits I've seen come with a new booster and master cylinder and others don't. Can somebody shed some light?

Robando.

Disc calipers require more brake fluid than drum cylinders, so you will have to change the MC. Another reason would be that you will probably have a 1 chamber M/C on your 65 now, with a junction block to feed all four brakes. With the disc swap you will separate the front from the rear by using a 2 chamber M/C.

The booster might work as long as the front pushrod fits the new M/C.
