This right angle formed bracket is screwed to the B pillar and I see how the sail panel fits into it but my question is, do you unscrew it and slip the headliner behind it, then reattach the bracket or does the bracket go on first and then the headliner is glued to the outside of it, then sail panel is installed. If it goes on the outside, how do you keep tension on it while the adhedsive is drying.

Steve, I was just going to ask the same question. I'm doing a 67,same set up as 66. I don't recall how I took it apart. My headliner job will be done once I/we get an answer on this.

I left the bracket on, then wrapped the headliner around the bottom with glue, and put office clips on it while it dried.

Brett, I don't get it. Did you take the bracket off, wrap it and reinstall it. I want to be sure that the sail panels have room to seat flush.

I guess mine dont seat flush but I can tell you it doesnt go between the bracket and roof or the sail panel wont cover the bracket. I just let it hang down over the front of the bracket with it still screwed in place. I streched it down after applying glue to the bracket and clipped the headliner in place. Its tough to get clips on so I used some popsicle sticks to spread the pressure.
