I've installed 1970 Chevelle front disk spindles on my 1965 Elcamino project. Seems to fit all right, but the wheels are tapered in at the top. Is this because it is a bare bones frame with no engine weight? I've installed big block springs and all new bushings throughout. Will be installing a Z28 LT1 with a 6 speed in the near future. Any information will be appreciated. thanx, Jon

I am sure you mean they look like this / and with some weight, they will be more straight up and down. the weight is necessary before torqueing any of the suspension bolts.
