my car's rear end leans to the driver's side. i'm a heavy guy, but just sitting you can see the car is leaning a bit with no driver in it. i already changed both the shocks and the springs and my car still leans. could this be caused by bushings or something with the control arms? or is the frame tweaked? maybe i just need to go on a diet? lol.

also, when jacking the car up from the center of the front cross memeber, the front passager tire comes off the ground before the driver's. usually the passengers side tire is a 2-3 inches off the ground before the other one comes up. if you stand at the back you can see the car lean towards the left rear corner as you jack up the front.

Check your bushings. Usually the bushing bolt hole with oblong over time and cause the leaning condition. My 'velle was like that until I threw in new bushings.

thanks. i have some new polygraphite bushings my brother ordered at some point. is there any reason not to run poly bushings on the rear of a daily driven street cruiser? (doesnt have airshocks anymore, new TRW springs, stock 2.73 open rear)

People have different theories on it and its an endless debate between rubber, poly & spherical bearings.

But if that's what you have to use and with the car in the leaning condition I would throw them in to see if it helps out.

how difficult of an install are bushings? i've got the same problem, and really don't want to tear into the car an immense amount.
