I just got my 1 1/4 front sway and took some time out today to install it and am a little puzzled on how they say to set it up. They send these plates to put on top of the bushings are they necessary. they dont even line up with the stock holes to bolt the bushings up! seems weird and they package 3 different types of bolts? Is this just that some models need different bolts.. A little insight into this would be appreciated as i have never installed one before thanks

Where did you get the bar?

I've got nothing between the bushings and the frame. Stock bushings came off that way too.

I got it through Lordco Performance I installed it without the plates the old just had the bushing against the frame. Just kind of puzlling giving you all this extra hardware?

i seen a post with a wagon's frame that has plates welded to it. the sway bar bushings were then bolted to the plates. i think it's reinforcement because the big sway bar can rip the bolts out of the frame sometimes.
