What is the difference between a manual steering pitman arm and a power steering pitman arm for a 1966 chevelle?

Can someone give me the part numbers of each?

I don't remember the specific difference but I think it has to do with the size of the hole attaching to the drag link, or center link.

My GM parts book shows the following two:
64-67 Chevelle (2nd design)(exc. P/S) 5693762 (cast 5693761)
and
64-67 Chevelle (2nd design)(with P/S) 5693764 (cast 5693763)

[Note - the 1st design is listed for 1964 and 1968-72. The above are 1972 parts book numbers so they may have been superceded.]

I haven't owned a non-P/S Chevelle (67 in my case) for a number of years so I can't tell you the exact difference but I'm pretty positive that there are people here who will know. If not, try the Brakes and Suspension forum.

Steering box splined shaft hole is 1/16 larger than the manual.

Thx Camino.

I was looking at the centerlink, and I know that there is no "manual" centerlink, and a "power" centerlink, so I figured it must be the spline.

Thanks for the conformation.
