Does anyone know if spindles off a 68 Grand Prix 428 will fit a 67 chevelle 396ss???? The spindles are not original for the 68 Grand Prix, cause that year had the funky 8 bolt lug nut pattern. I know they are off another vehicle that are supposed to fit the Grand Prix.

The suspension parts should fit all A bodies. The spindle from the GP is the same - just the turning hub assemblies were strange on the GP. The spindle, backing plate and caliper should be the same. A quick check is to see if the steering arm connecting to the outer ball joint is bolted to the spindle. If it is a bolt on style, the spindles, caliper and backing plate will fit the chevelle. Thanks for all your info. My Uncle just bought the Grand Prix over the weekend and the guy he got it from actually passed away and has the conversion kit in the trunk along with about another $2k in parts. But really thanks again for your help.
