Of course every company is going to "Push" their products, so what is the concensus on this?

Appears it is an answer to alignment problems?

Anyone install these yet?

Check out this. (http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=006302) I plan to do allot more testing this fall on bump steer. If you can wait, I might be able to provide some data, not just my misguided ideas! graemlins/clonk.gif

Great, and we'll wait.

As you follow posts on this site, we all see pros and cons of using the tall spindles, plus quite a few Team Members have gone the Global West or Hotchkis route.

Others, look into alternatives.

Both the fabricator and the owner of the body shop where our Art Morrison 12/14 Point Rollcage was just completed both have S-10 Drag Race Cars. They both used Art Morrison suspension components.

However, their comments on stock front control arms was interesting. "They Are Very Strong Units, And Reinforced They Are Just As Strong As Any On The Market" They suggested using a curved plate system welded to the control arms.

Plus they also know of lesser but well known racers (Various Venues) using the S-10 Spindle Conversion with 10 1/2" discs on Chevelles/El Caminos/Monte Carlos.

Anyway, we await your info and further input.

I have been meaning to reply back on that other post, but I will just do it here instead.

One thing brought up is if the bear tracker will even work with the B-body spindle.

When I got mine from global west, it came with new outer tie rods. I'm not sure if the B-body spindles use the same tie rod as the A-body's.

Anyone know if they are the same?

If not, I guess you would have to find some of the baer trackers for a B-body. I know baer now makes a bunch of applications (I think I even saw one listed for a Lambo. diablo), but I don't know if they make one for a B-body.

I got to see a Baer Track system the other day. It is a very nice looking unit. I took some measurements and the system will mount the tie rod at the same height as the stock tie rod, and you can move it down from there. It looks like about 1/2" of adjustment.

Another alternative to to raising the outer tie rod is to lower the inner tie rod placement as was done on a G Body. Jeff from the Monte list has a page setup with what he did. He had the tall spindle setup that many A body guys use at the time. Hope this helps out.
