Just wondering because I havent seen that many. I have a 71 ElCamino SS454 4spd with a/c. Anybody have any production numbers on this combo. Is the 4spd/A.C. combo typically rare throughout the Chevelle line??

Chevrolet didn't give us the benefit of breakdowns into combinations. When they kept track of production statistics it wasn't to be for our benefit. I think the best we can do is projections based on probability. I would add that on a personal note that a lot of good ole' boys bought big-block 4 speeds in the south-eastern U.S., and that a/c is nearly mandatory around Atlanta & Charlotte, so I would figure that there might be a higher concentration of that obscure combination sold there. Factor in 28 years since the year in question and the small numbers produced would likely be dispersed all over, so they would be a rare find no matter where.
