I need to order hedders but it states they WILL NOT WORK with the Saginaw close ratio 825 gear box. What does the 825 look like? How can I tell what I have, will get PICS if needed.

Kent,
I have the same numbers on my gearbox as you have. I also have the same problem that you have. I want to put ceramic headers on my 1970 454 chevelle and I am worried that they will not fit once I get them and trying to return them is a pain. I have done alot of research and no one seems to have the answer. If there is any 1970 chevelle owners with a 454 and these steering box numbers, please advise which headers you have.
Thanks,
Rockman.

And the box you have seems like it was used on several GM cars for quite a few years.
