hello, thank you for looking. i have had no luck finding a paint match to my dark blue m16 interior for 69 chevelle. bought several cans from napa and vip.not even close. does anybody know where i can buy it.

Dan, for the best result, take a piece of your vinyl interior to any Auto Paint store and have them custom match a vinyl dye, such as the SEM product, to the color of your interior. It's the only way you'll get a good color match.

I bought the Firethorn paint made by OEM for my Nova and it was a perfect match to the original color. Most of my plastic was faded, but the places where the sun didn't shine the color was still fresh.
Some of the parts were from a tan interior and a couple were black. The red covered well and still matched. It is real thin and takes a lot of coats to get even color. Some of the pieces are metal.
I ordered it through Classic Industries. To do all of the parts below, plus the console and dash took 4 cans.

I do not have a Chevelle catalog but there is a dark blue for a Nova in my catalog.

It also comes in quarts if you want to spray from a gun.
