I recently bought a 69 ss pnt 72. Being a original I almost feel I have a duty not to #%*&*#@ it up. The car was not bad with rust, but I have gotten 2 new gm fenders and a clean door rather than fix what I have. Now what to do about the quarters spend close to 3 grand for gm or go aftermarket and which aftermarket fit best. Any feedback would be great help. Body work without a doubt is not my thing. ALSO any one know a good resto body shop around NJ I have no problem to travel but would like to avoid over 300 mi The last thing I want is someone who thinks they have tried to hang a quarter or two and will give it a whirl
Thanks for any help,Doug:confused:

Aftermarket 1/4s are hit and miss. Seems they're getting better though. If your in any amount of doubt ask the body shop guy. I'm sure in worse case scenario either 1/4 in price will come out the same . I used 2 aftermarkets on mine. Pass fit like a glove, driver side kicked my ass. Driver side would have gotten a new one had I not been into the funds as deep as I was at the time. Heres some pics of both sides.

I know a guy that is one of the best in south jersey as far as doing metal work and body work goes. He has done quite a few 69 Chevelles. PM me for the info.

We typically sell Golden Star or Goodmark, we have had no issues with either! They have come a LONG way in the last few years! Give me a call if I can be of any help to you. I have been selling A-Body metal for almost 9 years, I have heard/seen it all!
