You all might remember my posts about top end oiling. After some patience, lash adjusting, and clearing assy lube from push rod tips, I indeed am getting plenty of oiling now. But, the top end still is noisy. This is my first big block and I'll admit my knowledge is limited about big blocks. I was told that noisy top ends was an inherant thing with big blocks. Is this the case? I doubt it myself, but I cannot figure out why this thing is so noisy. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a 454 in my Truck, Mr BillK put it together, very quite even with only a quarter turn on the lifters. If it is a hyd. lifter deal it should be quite, solid a little bit noisy.
