My malibu was originally an automatic car, and I will hopefully be putting in a 6 speed manual trans. I have found a set of manual trans pedals in pretty good shape. Only problem is that it's just the pedals... No bracketry, no linkage. Is the mounting brackets between manual and auto the same? can I just pull the auto pedal and install the clutch and brake?

Yes the pin that they pivot on will slide out and the new pedals will slide right in where there was only one. It's pretty simple once you have the pedals and crawl under there and look.

I just switched mine over to a muncie from an auto you can take the steering column braket that goes threw the fire wall and drill it with a hole saw for the clutch rod worked great put in all new z bar and brand new hurst comp shifter and linkage kit good luck oya allso bought a hump to weld to the floor from the muscle factory bought one with the console good luck.
