I just purchased a Hurst line lock. The directions show to put it in after the distribution block. It would be much easier to put it in before. Has anyone put one in before the distribution block and does it seem to function properly? I am putting it in a 68 chevelle. thanx. wnk.

I assume you mean proportioning valve. I put mine right out of the master cylinder prior to the proportioning valve. It would be a little hard after the valve because you then have 2 lines out to each front wheel. I have mine on a 68 SS396 4 speed and it works great. Good Luck. smile.gif

Yup, you want it after the master cylinder and before anything else.
