I just saw an ad in the paper for rear suspension parts for my 70 chevelle. I was just wondering if $200 would be worth it for..

-Southside upper/lower control arms
-Moroso Tick Springs
-GM sway bar, and an airbag kit.
-Competition engeneering shocks.

I wanted a stronger rear suspension and i was going to buy soon. Sounded like possibly a good deal. Thanks for any help.

ssm bars are $160.00 or so new

air bags are around $60

sway bar over $100

Comp Eng. shocks $50-60 a piece.

Ya this is the most incredible deal I have probably ever seen, well probably not as great of a deal as i got my Malibu for , but WOW!

just wondering..is it a big deal to have adjustable upper control arms...or does it not matter that much. I have heard arguments from both sides, and i am not sure. thanx again

not a big deal unless you plan on trying different pinion angles. with the SSM bars you set the pinion angle before drilling the last bolt holes. you could always buy the adjustable uppers later if you decide you want them.

Just to let all of you who are interested know. I just went and bought the setup. It was used for a few months, and nothing is wrong with them. Even better...i got everything for $150..not 200. Just thought i'de let you guys know. And i wanted to thank you all again for your help graemlins/beers.gif
