Just pulled the rear on a 69 chevelle. Bought new variable springs. The coils are closer together one one end then the other.
Both ends are flat on the old and the new. So which end goes up?
I would "guess" the ends that are closer together would go down?? :confused:

Anyone else do this? I'm sure someone has.

Close ends go up.Did you find the rubber spacers?

The old springs still had them intact......and they were in good shape, so i'm gonna use them over.
