I'm looking to install the Basic SSBC disk conversion kit with the 2" drop spindle. Does anyone have experience with this kit or prefer one of the others on the market. Thanks for the help.

I put the Ground Up front disc conversion on my 66 earlier this year. I stayed manual. I had four wheel manual drums.

The kit fit perfectly, and included all the trinkets, cotter pins, etc. I also got a set of repro brake lines, new flex hoses and rear wheel cylinders. I passed by the drop spindles, and cut the front springs a bit more while I was in there. That also worked petty well, and I like the way it sits now. Note that I am not much interested in handling, or super stopping power, just a reliable cruiser.

Very satisfied with it.

Hello, SKIP the drop spindles...You are much better off with drop coils. Checkout our conversion kits, we are VERY satisfied with Right Stuff parts and we are able to offer a nice discount on them! mattsclassicbowties.com
