: Brakes Dave 68-NOT SS Nov 21st, 99, 8:33 PM Hello, Im sure someone can help me. Im going to the wrecking yard to find a master cylinder and booster for my newly aquired disc brakes. Can I take these from any GM? What will interchange? The brakes are off of a 72 LeMans. Thanks gUmBaLL68Malibu Nov 21st, 99, 9:02 PM Im not so sure i would be going to a wrecking yard for your master cylinder i would rather buy a POS autozone one then buy one in a wrecking yard but i believe any brake booster will work as long as the car has disc brakes. I know a guy that owns a wrecking yard and i don't take master cylinders from his yard to much at risk. Cardiac Nov 22nd, 99, 3:33 AM Buy a new master cyl. they're inexpensive. A wrecking yard clerk will probalbly tell you the same. Buy a distribution block and master cyl for the 72 LeMans.
