Hi this question is about my chevy truck,It is a 1996 4wd 2500 the problem is it it is hard to keep in the lane is this a tie rod problem or something else.Its not a chevelle but its a chevy that hauls a chevelle lol.

I have a 96 Z71 4x4.

A good site for info is: http://www.offroad.com, look for the GM IFS standard, forum.

But if I had to guess I'd say, alignment, idler & pitman arm. After that it's tie rod ends and ball joints.

There is some kind of steering sensor but nobody I know has replaced it.
