Any difference between the 2 on ride quality for rear control arms.

Ive heard from others on the site and magazines that poly bushings can bind in the control arms in the rear, but theres something stronger than rubber you should put in i think its del-a-lum or something like that maybe another member can confirm that

i use energy Poly bushings in my rear control arms. They have worked great and are not squeaky at all. Others have reported sqeaks from these same bushings...guess i just got lucky

I ran my 66 with rubber front bushings and polygraphite rears for about 9 years. I liked the ride. But when the rubber bushings went away, I put polygraphites up front. I'm getting use to them but you can sure feel every pebble you roll over. Personally, I like poly in the rear and rubber up front.

i think the biggest thing is the poly eliminates any side to side movement of the rear tires inside the wheel well.

Is there a noticable difference between the 2 in the rear arms.

Blumont, I had horrible rubber in the rear on mine, went to polygraphite. Noticed no degradation of ride quality, but my wheel hop went away. I assume if I can't notice a ride difference between real bad rubber and poly that you wouldn't notice a difference between new rubber and poly.

I'm about to upgrade my entire front suspension, still accumulating parts - I'm torn between the rubber and poly since I'm also getting stiffer Hotchkis springs, and while I don't really mind a stiffer ride, I'm not sure I want it overdone. I can replace the springs easier than all the bushings!!
