Hi, I am upgrading the brakes in my 66 and want to do the wheel studs at the same time. I am looking for a brand name, like ARP, as opposed to the parts counter ones for a little extra insurance. I am going with 1LE rotors up front (tall spindle conv.) and 93-97 camaro rotors in the back. I was thinking of 7/16 studs to avoid drilling, but thinking maybe I should go with 1/2 inch ones. Any recommendations on which brand/sizes to go with? Keeping in mind the 1LE rotors come with the 12mm studs, I have heard that people have found studs that can be pressed in without drilling the holes. Also, what length should I go with, I am thinking of using Torque Thrust II’s with acorn style studs.

Am I the only one who didn't swap out the metric studs on the 1LE rotors? I would just leave them be, and buy metric nuts. If you're dead set on converting to SAE studs, ARP has a good lineup.
