I just ordered a pair of sway bar bushings from year one and they aren't the same size as the originals, they are about an inch taller. Why is there a difference?

I'm having the same problem on my 67. I got my swaybar bushings from PST and they too are bout 3/4 to 1" taller than the originals. Can someone help? We may have to try other companys bushings.

What size bushings are you needing? In other words, what size is your front sway bar? I'll look up in my Moog book for the part number you need for the stock application and you can get these at any parts house that sells Moog brands.

My sway bar is 1" in diameter. I was just thinking to cut the bushin' down to the original size or to just make bigger brakets. I still need help. Anyone know why these bushings are bigger than originals?
